I am happy that my surgery was put off until January. It is scheduled for Monday, January 7, 2008, at 3:00 pm. (6 days – countdown is on.)
Christmas:
WAS WONDERFUL – we did X-mas all the week before the 25th, so on the 25th and ever since, we have been playing with our new toys and items.
I was given a Philips CD/Radio player. I’ve been wanting a radio in my room with good sound quality, and I am extremely happy with its quality. Next, since I spend a LOT of my time in bed, we got a NICE comforter set. It’s one of those bed in a bag things that includes (all microsuede): Comforter, Flat Sheet, Fitted Sheet, Two Pillowcase Covers, and Two Body Pillow Covers – mmmmmmm, I feel spoiled. 
Both the men in my family were spoiled beyond all reality – I love spoiling them They are my life.
New Year’s Eve:
The boy went to my moms house. He loves staying the night there. Patrick and I went to a friends house and hung out for the evening. I stood too long and have been in bed for most of this day. Then, as usual, I couldn’t fall asleep at another persons home because of my leg, tried to lay down at 2:30 am and by 5 am I was waking Patrick to go home. It was a wonderful evening. We saw and heard fireworks galore. I had a drink, and didn’t even drink it all, wasn’t really in the mood for it. Needless to say it was fun, old friends I haven’t seen in so long and current friends whom all made good company.
My New Years Resolution: to try and blog more. In looking back I see numerous gaps in all my writings. I will work on being more consistent in my writings so you can share my life

Hello, I too have RSD/CRSP and was curious as to what type of surgery you are sceduled for and also for what you may have used in the past. I have fighting this since 1999 and have a supposrt I used to go to but have moved a little to far away to get to go very much so I have turned to the web and decided to check for bog sites today. I have a spinal cord stimulator and am waiting on wether we are going to put a morphine pump or another stimulator in as I know have spread from upper body to right leg as well as two herniated discs in the low back.
